Frederiksoord

Frederiksoord (52°50′N, 6°11′E) is a town in the Dutch province of Drenthe. It is a part of the municipality of Westerveld, and lies about 24 km northwest of Hoogeveen.

In 2001, the town of Frederiksoord had 1254 inhabitants. The built-up area of the town was 0.24 km², and contained 481 residences.[1] The statistical area "Frederiksoord", which also can include the surrounding countryside, has a population of around 370.[2]
