Frederik Ndoci is an Albanian singer, who will represent his country at the Eurovision Song Contest 2007, with the song "Hear My Plea". Before winning the Festivali i Këngës 45, he also won the 28th edition, along with Manjola Nallbani & Julia Ndoci. He performs "Balada e Gurit" together with his wife, Aida Ndoci. The Albanian fourth entry for ESC 2007 in Helsinki, was finally chosen. Aida & Frederik Ndoci will be representing Albania in Helsinki with a song called Balada e gurit (The stone ballad). Even though we don't know so much about Aida, just that she is the wife of the Frederik, we know much more about the last mentioned. Frederik grew up on a very cultural home of artists from the north Albanian city of Shkodra. His sister, Rita Ndoci was loved for her performances as a professional comedian long before Frederik started his career as singer. His other sister, Julia Ndoci started a career as a singer right after Frederik, but she couldn't share so much success as her brother did with singing. This is not the first time Frederik, who can sing in six different languages, wins a competition. In fact he won the Festival in December 1989 with the song called Toka e Diellit (Land Of The Sun). His career is very long and it includes succesful movies, where he performed as an actor, starring in main and second roles. Despite his big success, he has had his share of big difficult times mostly caused from the Albanian communist regime of the time. Now, Frederik is back, as a successful artist, winner and entrant for the Eurovision.
