Frederic James Lamb, 3rd Viscount Melbourne GCB (1782 - January 29, 1853) was a British diplomat.

He was the son of Peniston Lamb, 1st Viscount Melbourne. He was invested as a Knight Grand Cross of the Order of the Bath. He was created 1st Baron Beauvale, of Beauvale in Nottingham county England on April 20, 1839. He served as British Ambassador to Vienna ending in 1841. He succeeded to the title of 3rd Viscount Melbourne on the death of his brother, William Lamb, 2nd Viscount Melbourne on November 24, 1848. He died without issue; so, on his death, all of his titles became extinct.
