Fred Scott (born August 5, 1952 in Grady, Arkansas) was a National Football League wide receiver from 1974 through 1983. In 2001, he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
His son, Freddie Scott, Jr., also played wide receiver for Penn State University, and in the the NFL from 1996 through 1998 for the Atlanta Falcons and Indianapolis Colts.
