[edit] Biography

Prior to becoming a trainer, Roach was a journeyman fighter who didn't have the quickness or power to compete at the championship level. Roach did not come up victorious in bouts with any big name fighters. He dropped fights to former super lightweight champ Bobby Chacon and former lightweight champs Greg Haugen and Hector Camacho Sr.

Recently, Roach has developed Pugilistic Parkinson's syndrome as a result of his lengthy boxing career.
