Freddie Benavides

Alfredo Benavides (born April 7, 1966, in Laredo, Texas) was a Major League Baseball infielder. He is an alumnus of Texas Christian University.

Drafted by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2nd round of the 1987 MLB amateur draft, Benavides would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Cincinnati Reds on May 14, 1991, and appear in his final game on August 11, 1994.

Benavides was a member of the inaugural Colorado Rockies team that began play in Major League Baseball in 1993.
