Fred Guiol (17 February 1898 - 23 May 1964) was an American film director and screenwriter. Along with Ivan Moffat, he was nominated for an Academy Award for Writing Adapted Screenplay for adapting Edna Ferber's novel Giant into the film Giant.

He is buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, California.
