Fred Claus is an upcoming film set to be released at Christmas of 2007. This is a comedy, holiday film about Santa Claus and his older brother Fred Claus coming home for the holidays.

[edit] Plot

Spoiler warning: Plot and/or ending details follow.

Not much is known, except for that filming has started in Chicago's Water Tower Place, Chicago's Edgebrook neighborhood, and some car scenes around the Logan Square neighborhood, but it revolves around Santa Claus and his older brother Fred Claus. From the trailer it shows that they don't get along very well. Yahoo! movies has a plot saying that Fred Claus has to move in with his younger brother Santa Claus in the North Pole during the holiday season. He messes everything up and has to redeem himself and make everything right again.

Spoilers end here.

The teaser trailer announces that lots of people come home for the holidays, even Santa Claus and his brother Fred Claus. Then it shows the two brothers sitting on the couch, arguing. It clearly shows that these two didn't get along very well. At the very end, it states that it will be coming out this Christmas, 2007.
