Dog Soldiers: Fresh Meat is the upcoming sequel to the 2002 British werewolf film Dog Soldiers, which was written and directed by Neil Marshall. Filming began in Autumn 2006. The project was halted for a period of time because the film makers wanted to shoot during the "hunter's moon" where the moon appears larger and lower in the sky. It is set for release in 2007. The film's current tagline is some what of a pun; Hungry for Seconds?.

[edit] Plot
Laurence Cooper, the sole survivor of a team of trained soldiers on a training mission attacked by werewolves, sets off across the Scottish highlands, looking for civilization with the sheepdog Sam. Meanwhile, the U.S. Special Forces team that was sent to participate in a series of war games with Cooper’s team waits for the team. Col. Benjamin Parker sends two of his men off to see if there is any sign of the British team and return with Cooper, who tells them that he and his platoon were slaughtered by a family of werewolves.
Before Parker can accuse Cooper of being a mass murderer, another wounded British soldier is brought into the camp. He introduces himself as British Special OPS Pvt. Kevin Erickson, the sole survivor of an attack on Capt. Ryan’s platoon moments before Cooper's team. Erickson reports the werewolf attack on his platoon to the soldiers and how he managed to escape with a few other soldiers to shelter in a cave. Through the night, Erickson witnessed, one by one as his platoon died, only to be transformed into werewolves.
Parker becomes irritated hearing the tales and puts both men under arrest to a secured tent until they can all be picked up by a rendezvous ship in the morning. When Cooper reveals his photographic evidence from the farmhouse, Parker sends out three of his men to the farmhouse where Cooper's team was attacked. When they arrive they are greeted by a night of horror as the U.S. forces, armed to the teeth with modern warfare technology, battle beasts who think and act like soldiers.
