[edit] License tagging for Image:Down view.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Down view.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:04, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vanity edits
Please do not add commercial links or links to your own private websites to Wikipedia. Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or a mere collection of external links. You are, however, encouraged to add content instead of links to the encyclopedia. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. See the welcome page to learn more about Wikipedia. Thanks. Adding material in the way that you did is very disruptive to other editors who have put a lot of work into creating articles. Any repetition of this will result in you being blocked from editing. If you wish to have material added about yourself, then you should click on the tab "discussion" at the top of any article and leave a message on that page for other editors. Contact me here if you wish to discuss this (new messages go at the bottom of the page). Tyrenius 02:26, 5 August 2006 (UTC)
