Hi, maybe it's silly but if I have an article open to edit I take these spaces out to save bandwidth in future. I opened Dmesg as part of the date wikification process. Incidentally I have changed the output from "nowiki" to "pre", and put "nbsp"s in the date. The first part is how computer text should be. Of course you are right, which is why I generally only make the change when I'm editing the article anyway - this was an unusual event. On your second point I use a glorified search and replace to wikify dates, and while I always do a diff before saving, it is possible to wikify inappropriate dates. Furthermore when I search the XML dump, I will not pick up these pseudo-dates in the first place, saving a re-visit to article. Rich Farmbrough. 16:31, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Ccleaner.gif. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use {{GFDL-self}} to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as {{fairusein|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. The point really was, this was what the original intent of the page was, but poor naming caused it to be overrun with all sorts of other non-superhero powers. No one was paying attention to that word ("superhero") at all, and so the name changed was a good idea. I don't have a problem with someone else starting a page to cover the other powers, and may even help on it. --Kickstart70-T-C 14:40, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

Actually that's just how AWB behaves by default. Per stub policy, there's no correct place to put the stub, but since the stub category is the least important of the article's categories, some Wikipedians prefer to place the template after the category tags, so that the stub category will appear last. A stub can either be there or after the external links... anywhere else is awkward. I'm not sure what you mean by "template stuff". --W.marsh 20:35, 17 June 2006 (UTC)

I need a new User Box

Due to the fact I was looking at the history of the Wikipedia "Icon"-article page today, I was on your User Page. I thought I'd contact you because I'd like to find someone to make a new User Box.[2] Personally, I have no experience or expertise/knowledge for attempting to make one myself (not an artist at all).

I'd like to see a User Box for: "users who enjoy Cross-Country Skiing" As you may guess, these are pastimes that some of us in the North enjoy, and I believe there would be others with User Pages who also enjoy this recreation/sport [3] and might put the Box on their page.

Frap — I've noticed your work in the area of finding obscure (to me) technology companies and creating stubs. I prod a lot of articles, but I am learning to leave your creations alone! I mostly go after the conflict of interest edits.

Anyway, to my point. Can you verify that TriGem and TG Sambo are the same company and possibly find an English website to replace the Korean one? My second request is to suggest you create an article for Korean Data Systems (KDS). A couple of articles refer to it and we may as well provide links if the company is notable. Please only edit a page on Wikipedia when you feel your edits can actually make a noticeable difference to the article. Several of your edits recently have been very trivial, and this can sometimes be seen as a bad tactic. Every time an edit is made, a whole new copy of the page is saved to the servers - taking up more and more disk space. Sometimes editing a lot to change very small things can also be seen as a way of trying to boost one's edit count.
