It is inappropriate to merge these articles. They are separate legal entities. A merger between the city and the township has been discussed, but failed when submitted to the voters. PedanticallySpeaking 16:21, 3 January 2006 (UTC)

  • I concur for the reasons above; this should not be merged with Franklin Township. The city of Franklin is seperate from Franklin Township. This does not meet any of the "merging and moving" requirements and I'm removing the header from the page. -- goatasaur 20:22, 22 January 2006 (UTC)
