Frank.Feather 03:10, 17 February 2006 (UTC)All material listed on this page was placed there by me (Frank Feather). It is factual, accurate, and is my own copyright material. The books listed as authored by me, are indeed written by me. The fact that they may be listed/reviewed elsewhere is totally irrelevant. There are reviews and listings of my books on numerous websites. You may check my credentials at [www.future-trends.com] where you will also see my books listed. You will also find them at Amazon. Please lift the copyright infringement notice. Thanks! Frank Feather

G'day Frank, are you aware that it is not the done thing to write your own biography on Wikipedia? It is frowned on greatly. Check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Autobiography If you are as notable as you claim, someone else will write your entry for you. I have added a NPOV tag to your entry. You may wish to consider deleting the article after reading the Wiki guidelines. Maustrauser 11:42, 17 February 2006 (UTC)

There are several problems here:
  • It is still autobiography, it is near impossible to write a neutral autobiography.
  • The claim to have originated the phrase "thinking globally, acting locally" needs a verifiable and reliable external source, specifically, this must exclude it being just a variant of "think global, act local" - Googling either variant plus Frank Feather yields very few Google hits, which is unlikely if he is genuinely the originator of such a notable phrase.
  • What is the significance of "First Global Conference on the Future"? Again, verifiable evidence of significance is required.
  • How significant is future-trends.com? If this is not a notable website, being the host of it is not a claim to notability. An Alexa rank of five million and a couple of hundred inbound links, mostly from blogs or add-your-own sites, do not suggest that it is notable, and it certainly has no article.
The article as written is definitely not neutral in tone, and the re-creation of the article almost immediately after it was userfied with reasoning given per WP:AUTO and WP:BAI has a very strong appearance of vanity. Mr Feather asked me to create a stub so he could get someone else to work it up, but re-created before I'd even finished replying to his message - that is a bad sign. Just zis  Guy, you know? Frank.Feather 12:47, 17 February 2006 (UTC)I understand your difficulty. I was trying to present you with an acceptable version, as noted in my "talk" message to you, which obviously you had no time to read. Please review the latest version, and if it still is unacceptable to you, I will withdraw it in its entirety and you may delete the page. No vanity here, mate. Cheers! Frank

The problem is that your "acceptable version" is functionally identical to the version which was userfied as inappropariate. Any I suggest that you may well not be the best person to judge either the quality or the nature of your own contributions. I note that you also added yourself to some other articles. You really do need to tread very carefully when discussing yourself on Wikipedia. Just zis  Guy, you know? [T]/[C] 12:53, 17 February 2006 (UTC)
