It's my understanding of WP:BIO that professional athletes are generally notable, regardless of how long ago the player lived. The American Association was one of the two major pro baseball leagues at the time. Thus, I've deprodded this article; if you disagree take it to WP:AfD. BryanG^(talk) 06:26, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
