Mythology reference, so all over the place. I can't find anything on it being the sword of Mars, and I find that doubtful (the name just 'feels' wrong to be Latin). Nor can I trace it to Attila the Hun. I have a suspicion that the connection was made by some mythologial unification theory (something the romans were big on,not nesseceruly a modern doing), and thus the sword of Mars woud normally be known by some other name. Buggared if I can find that though...

I can place it all over the place in Celtic mythology. The links are probably a bit naff to stay, but they do answear the VfD questioner. Syntax 04:16, 12 Feb 2004 (UTC)

The supposed Roman connection, as written, was utterly bogus (though the legend of Attila the Hun and the Sword of Mars did exist; Jordanes mentions it). The -ch ending is, as far as I remember, nonexistent in Latin (it could have been adopted from another language, though), and the supposed Latin title was wrong: "caliam" doesn't mean "sword", and the genitive form of "lux" is "lucis", not "solaris". I removed it from the article; the text is a possible BJAODN candidate, but I suspect it's just uncontextualized RPG or bad fantasy novel garbage. --No-One Jones 06:04, 14 Feb 2004 (UTC)
