Mary Curzon, Baroness Curzon of Kedleston (Mary Victoria Leiter), 1st wife of 1st Marquess Curzon of Kedleston, (George Nathaniel Curzon) Portrait study by Franz von Lenbach, Oil on board, (1901) National Portrait Gallery, Smithsonian Institution, Washington, D.C., Bequest of Lady Alexandra (Curzon) Metcalfe, her youngest sister.
This likeness of Mary Curzon may have been a study for a larger painting with other figures. Mary liked the picture a good deal and wrote to the artist, "I have done well to wish to be painted by no one but you.". The oval frame is not on the originial at NPG. NPG
