The image was proposed for deletion as a replaceable fair use image. The result of the debate was to Keep the image as no adequate free-licensed image exists or can be created.

"This image depicts Frank McKenna as he appeared during his term as Premier of New Brunswick over 10 years ago, unless a free image can be found for this period, this image should be allowed as a new free image created today showing an older McKenna would not properly display him during his time as premier. I believe this ration is similar to that explained and accepted for Bob Rae during his term as premier on the discussion page on this issue."
