Fraudulent Mediums Act 1951

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Fraudulent Mediums Act 1951 is a law in the UK which targets anyone claiming to be psychics, mediums, or other spiritualist techniques who attempt to use trickery with an attempt to deceive and to make money from the deception. The 1951 act also repealed the Witchcraft Act.

In actual practice, the act has seldom been enforced.
