Frans Pourbus the Elder

Frans Pourbus the elder (1545-1581) was a Flemish Renaissance painter.
He was known primarily for his religious and portrait painting and worked mainly in Antwerp. His father was painter Pieter Pourbus and his son was painter Frans Pourbus the younger.
