[edit] Block Scheduling
Franklin High School changed to block scheduling in the Fall of 2006 amid heavy resistance especially from Science and Math teachers who worried about the students' capability to retain their knowledge over two days instead of one (like the traditional schedule). However since then, multiple polls by The Franklin Chronicle, the school newspaper, have shown that most students prefer it. The school will continue with the scheduling in the 2007-2008 school year.
