Franklin College is a liberal arts college in Franklin, Indiana. It was founded in 1834 and was the first college in Indiana to admit women (1842). Franklin's athletic teams are known as the Grizzlies and participate in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference. The former name of the athletic teams was "The Fighting Baptists".
Famous attendees include Indiana governor Roger D. Branigin, actress Marjorie Main, and film director Robert Wise.
Franklin College is also the name of an American college in Lugano, Switzerland.

- Dr. H. Dean Evans - elected to two terms as State Superintendent of Public Instruction for the State of Indiana. Unsuccessful Republican candidate for Governor of Indiana in 1992.
- Ann G. DeVore - elected to two terms as Auditor of the State of Indiana. Former Bartholomew County and Columbus, Indiana official.
- David Huntington - A local self-proclaimed cage fighter, most famous for moves such as: the "Trouser-Snake Indian Burn", the "North Manchester Man Gesture", and the "Red-Room Boom Boom".
- Tom Kazmierczak - Shotgunin champion for 5 years while attending college. A legend in many circles and widely known for his ability to "shotgun a beer" in well under 2 seconds, without spilling a drop. Remained undefeated his entire college career, a remarkable feat. Talks to name a future campus building in his honor are progressing fairly quickly.
Franklin College was the name of the inaugural college of the University of Georgia in Athens, Georgia.
Franklin College was also a college in New Athens, Ohio that closed in 1921.
