Frankie King

Frankie Alexander King (born July 6, 1972 in Baxley, Georgia) is an American professional basketball player. He studied at Western Carolina University and after he graduated he was signed up to the 1995 NBA Draft and was selected as the 37th overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers.
But after only 6 games that he played for the Lakers in the 1995-1996 season he decided to move playing in Europe was sent to the CB Granada from Spain for the 1996-1997 and later in that season he returned to the NBA by signing for the the Philadelphia 76ers and playing there for 7 games.
He returned playing in Europe by signing with Panionios in the 1997-1998 season and later moved to PAOK Thessaloniki for the 1998-1999 season in Greece.
He moved to play in Germany in 1999-2000 by signing with ALBA Berlin and after this season he went to play in France in the Paris Basket Racing and in season after he moved to play in Basket Club Maritime Gravelines Dunkerque Grand Littoral and later moved to Venezuela.
In the 2004-2006 seasons he played for AEL Limassol, Cyprus and in two seasons was Cypriot Champion.
He played also in Israel for Maccabi Ironi Ramat Gan.
He rescently signed for another Cypriot team, APOEL Nicosia.

- He won the Greece Cup while playing for PAOK Thessaloniki in 1998/1999 season.
- He was the Player of the Year in Cyprus in the 2004/2005 season and in 2005/2006 season.
- He won two Cyprus Championships while playing there in the 2004/2005 and in the 2005/2006 seasons.
