Frank V. Zerunyan

Frank V. Zerunyan was appointed to the Division of Medical Quality by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger in 2006. He is principal and general counsel to Public-Private Community Development LLC, a policy-driven redevelopment company, building California communities for the next generation. Previously he was a principal with the law firm of SulmeyerKupetz. Mr. Zerunyan was elected chairman of the board of governors of the Armenian Bar Association in 2006. He was elected to the City Council of Rolling Hills Estates in 2003. He is on the board of the Palos Verdes Peninsula Transit Authority. He is a member of the California Contract Cities Association and serves as the corporate secretary and treasurer as well as executive board member. As a council member from the City of Rolling Hills Estates, Mr. Zerunyan represents the South Bay Association of Governments on the Energy and Environment and Water Task Force Policy Committees at the Southern California Association of Governments.
Mr. Zerunyan earned his juris doctor from Western State University College of Law and his bachelor of arts from California State University, Long Beach. He also completed his advanced legal studies in Corporate Taxation at the University of Southern California Law Center.
