Frank Tassone

Frank Tassone is an American criminal. Tassone was the superintendent of schools of Roslyn, New York. He pled guilty on September 26, 2005 to embezzlement of millions of dollars from the school system, to which he used for such uses as flying to London via the Concorde and dry cleaning. Many teachers who were honest and loyal to Roslyn Public Schools wound up retiring earlier than they would have normally because the central administrators were putting pressure on them to do so.

The scandal was widespread and far reaching in the administration of the district, there were many others involved.
