Frank Lee Sprague

Frank Lee Sprague, born in Wichita Falls, Texas, is a US guitarist/composer. He writes both songs and concert works. This world class musician has over 1000 works to his credit, many for guitar. His catalog includes 2 string quartets, 3 symphonies, many chamber music compositions, 2 operas and more.
In 2004 he released an album of songs in the Mersey Sound style, called Merseybeat, which featured guests Doug Fieger of The Knack and Big Jay McNeely.
A sequel called Cavern, whose title is ambiguous but most think of as referring to the Liverpool club made famous in the 1960s by The Beatles and other Merseyside performers, released in 2005.
In 2006 he released Merseybeat Mono, which contained all the songs from his first two albums in monophonic sound, as well as Concerto for Violin with Orchestra, the acoustic Fulton Avenue, and the single She's Good.
Newest release is Merry Merseybeat Christmas on Wichita Falls Records December 2006. Also leader of the Sprague Brothers who have released several albums on Hightone Records, El Toro, and other labels.
