Frank D. Moates Elementary School (Glenn Heights, Texas)

Frank D. Moates Elementary School is a public school in Glenn Heights, Texas (USA). It is part of the DeSoto Independent School District.
Located at 1500 Heritage Boulevard, the school serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through four that reside in south central DeSoto and most areas of Glenn Heights that lie within the district.
Named after Frank Don Moates, a former DeSoto ISD superintendent, the school opened on September 1, 1988.

As of the 2005-2006 school year, Moates had a total of 707 students (42.1% African American, 12.7% White, 43.6% Hispanic, 0.8% Asian, and 0.7% Native American).

Based on the accountability ratings released by the Texas Education Agency on August 1, 2006, Moates Elementary is currently rated "Academically Acceptable".
