Frank A. Briggs

Frank A. Briggs (b. September 15, 1858 Hennepin County, Minnesota – d.August 9, 1898 Bismarck, North Dakota) was an American politician who served as the Republican Governor of North Dakota from 1897 to 1898. Briggs became the first state governor to die in office.
