Francisco José Carrasco

Francisco José Carrasco Hidalgo (born 06 March 1959 at Alcoy (Alicante)) is a former Spanish footballer.
Carrasco was a product of the FC Barcelona youth system and quickly made a name for himself around Europe with a brilliant display of creative dribbling in the 1979 European Cup Winners' Cup final thriller that the Catalonians won against German side Fortuna Dusseldorf by 4-3 in overtime.
During his career he played for FC Barcelona (1979-1989) and FC Sochaux (1989-1992). He earned 35 caps and scored 5 goals for the Spain national football team, and played in Euro 1980, Euro 1984 (becoming a runner-up) and the 1986 FIFA World Cup (though he saw no action in any of the games).
