Francis II, Duke of Lorraine

Francis II (February 27, 1572 – October 14, 1632), was the son of Charles III, Duke of Lorraine and Claude of Valois. He was Duke of Lorraine briefly in 1624, quickly abdicating in favor of his son. He married Christina of Salm and had the following issue:
- Henry (1602-1611)
- Duke Charles IV of Lorraine (1604-1675)
- Henrietta (1605-1660), married Louis of Guise, prince of Lixheim
- Duke Nicholas II of Lorraine (1609-1670)
- Margaret (1615-1672), married Gaston, Duke of Orleans
- Christina (1621-1622)
