Francesco Brizio

Francesco Brizio (1574 - 1623) was an Italian painter of the late-Renaissance period. He was the pupil of the painter Bartolomeo Passerotti, and afterward under Ludovico Carracci. ALso became an engraver. His son, Filippo Brizio, was also a painter, In Bologna, he painted a Coronation of the Madonna del Borgo for the church of San Petronio.
