Frances Winfield

Frances Winfield is the wife of former administrator of Iraq L. Paul Bremer III and mother of their two adult children. She is also an experienced author, teacher, and artist. Some of Mrs. Bremer's published works include Running to Paradise (published November 2000, ISBN 1-892668-24-6), Coping With His Success: A Survival Guide for Wives at the Top (published March 1984, ISBN 0-06-015247-8), and Walk A Mile In Her Shoes. Mrs. Bremer is currently working on her next book.
Running to Paradise is in the process of being made into a motion picture.
A Connecticut native, Mrs. Bremer met her husband at a Dixieland concert. The two became college sweethearts and married in 1966. A devout Roman Catholic, she and her husband are Eucharistic ministers at their local parish in Maryland.
Some of Mrs. Bremer's favorite pastimes include reading and skiing.
