Frances Black is an Irish singer. Frances was born into a very musical family in Dublin. Her father was a fiddler, her mother was a singer and her brothers have their own group. Her sister Mary Black has also established herself as an acclaimed vocalist.

The release of her 1996 album, The Smile On Your Face was one of the biggest-selling albums in Ireland that year.
