Fragments of Ancient Poetry collected in the Highlands of Scotland is a collection of poems written by James Macpherson, a Scottish poet, that was published in June 1760, with a revised edition published in September of the same year. The poems were hugely succesful with critics, and many periodicals carried favourable reviews. [1]
