[edit] Synopsis

The Moyans learn that Talyn is on his way to them! An excited John primps himself for their arrival. But when a Leviathan transport pod arrives, it isn't their friends--it's a female Hynerian, a Boolite, a Scarran, a Nebari, and a Peacekeeper. They were prisoners of the Peacekepers, and had been put on the transport to be test subjects for a new PK weapon. The PK with them is put behind bars by the Moyans The Scarran has had his heat gland removed by the PKs, making him weaker. He is also a somewhat sympathetic figure. Rygel and the female Hynerian, Orhnn, quickly form a bond and spend much of the rest of the episode in bed together. Likewise Chiana becomes fond of the Nebari who, it turns out, is an hermaphrodite--part male, part female, an exiled Nebari minority because they do not fit in to the rigid Nebari system. The Boolite was torn to pieces by the mysterious weapon, but can survive even in that state.

Then, Talyn arrives. But John's joy at Aeryn's arrival is short-lived as she greets him coldly and refuses to look at him. He learns of the other John's death and, as D'Argo explains to John, the John of Moya is just a clone of the John of Talyn, to Aeryn. She subsequently refuses to even speak with John. Differences are temporarily put aside, however, as the Moyans have a crisis on their hands. One of their guests is sending messages to the PKs, and also killing the other guests, one by one. Each Moyan defends his or her new friend, so Jool and Crais try to put together the Boolite to discover who the traitor is. Too late, they discover that it is Orhnn, the Hynerian, who has been feigning pleasure at the hands of Rygel, and really hates him. They fight, and eventually Orhnn is ejected into space, and the only survivor of the Leviathan transport is the Scarran.

Meanwhile, Aeryn's plan to ignore John is not faring well. First she accidentally confuses something that happened with TalynJohn with something that happened with MoyaJohn, then MoyaJohn inadvertently says things that are identical to things TalynJohn said. Finally, she lurks by John's quarters as he listens to a final from TalynJohn, recorded with Stark's mask. He tells MoyaJohn that he must complete what TalynJohn started: prevent the PKs from getting knowledge of wormholes and wormhole weapons, for the safety of the galaxy. He then tells him that Aeryn takes time, and he should treat her accordingly. Finally, he plays a round of rock-paper-scissors with MoyaJohn, and once again, they tie (scissors). Aeryn stands in the hallway, unseen by John, devastated.

John then assembles the Moyans in Pilot's Den, and tells them what TalynJohn told him. He says he is going to go to Scorpius' Command Carrier to sabotage the PK wormhole weapons research, and asks who will go with him. Aeryn immediately volunteers, and the others mull it over.
