Fra McCann is an Irish politician. McCann became active in the Irish republican movement and during the 1970s was jailed on a number of occasions. In 1987, he was elected to Belfast City Council, representing Sinn Féin.
McCann was elected to the Northern Ireland Assembly representing West Belfast in 2003 and again in 2007.
