[edit] MDK

Thanks for expanding this article, I have recently picked up interest in MDK and was curious about the backstory and technicalities ;)

I'm the one who provided the "minecrawler in action" image, if you're curious. Incidentally, I can get more ingame shots if you like. For now I'll likely keep an eye on MDK (video game) for stuff like spelling and grammar.

[edit] Does this make it a title? Lolz

Hey bro, its Tobar editing this one (Not signed in. SUCKS!) I'm off to America tomorrow, but keep me updated on the MDK stuff. It was a good game, and i'd love to be able to do this for some classic games like the Space Quest series. Roger Wilco NEEDS a 2007 counterpart!

[edit] MDK3 petition link on MDK2

It isn't for me to say what should or should not be linked to. The External links guide already does this, and it carries the weight of the concensus of the community. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia. Links should add value to the article in question. I don't believe a link to a petition adds any value to the article, and further, I believe it meets the spirit of links to be avoided as defined in the External links guide. Any further discussion of this matter should be carried out on the MDK2 talk page where it might provoke further consideration by other parties. Gregmg 04:11, 16 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] This guy^^

Is talking out of his arse. (Tobar here again). Sorry to say it bro, but the petition brings to light the companies stance on a sequel, and the communities view. You can quite easily have a petition linked to explain something in detail that you can't entirely explain on the wiki itself. There is no bias of any sort forcing a user to SIGN The petition, but it makes fans or potential fans or even those AGAINST it, AWARE Of the situation, and AWARE of what they can do and how if they agree with a certain thing. Its not unneccesary (its also a source of information, which by the way, can be cited at the bottom, so why not have a link there?), and is in fact useful.

If anything that can spark debate between people can be counted as Bias, you better remove a lot of articles that contain "Some people speculate that INSERT SPECULATION HERE while others speculate that INSERT COUNTER SPECULATION HERE", because THIS is NOT telling people what to do (reitterating here a bit) but simply providing them with an external verification of the discussed information. PROOF that this isn't uncited text (Which by the way, is not uncommon in the community; and as so few checks are done, it would be nice to see that a cited source BE ALLOWED TO BE INCLUDED in an article that refers to it for once in a blue moon).

Surely a person should be made aware of something here rather than having to trawl through google for hours just to find out if its true. I was under the impression that this was an Encyclopedia, rather than... lies!

Final point "Encyclopedic content must be verifiable".

End.

[edit] by the way!

Freker dude! Have a great Xmas! I'll be back in three weeks. Your wiki rocks, keep up the good work on it.

[edit] Maintenance tags

Please do not remove maintenance notices from pages unless the required changes have been made. If you are uncertain whether the page requires further work, or if you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the page's talk page before removing the notice from the page. These notices and comments are needed to establish community consensus about the status of a page. Thank you. --Crossmr 00:48, 17 December 2006 (UTC)

[edit] License tagging for Image:Stigand.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Stigand.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:
