Fréttir, íþróttir og veður (English: News, sports and weather), is the principal nightly television news program of the Icelandic public television network Sjónvarpið. The program has been broadcast since the network was launched in 1966 and is the second highest rated television program in Iceland. Each of the five news anchors hosts the program for several nights each month.
The show airs at 7 p.m. with news coverage for about 25 minutes followed by sports for about 5 minutes. The weather forecast is then broadcast after a commercial break.
