My name is Federico Poloni. I am a mathematics postgraduate student at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Pisa. My main field of studies is Numerical Linear Algebra.

I am a Linux user and an amateur juggler.

I took part in the 2001 and 2002 International Mathematics Olympiads; now I help the scientific staff organizing the Italian mathematical olympiad.

I prefer writing on the English Wikipedia rather than on the Italian one because I think knowledge should not be fragmented in many languages, but rather English should be the knowledge sharing lingua franca.

My English is far from perfect, so please correct any misteaks :-) you find in my edits.
