I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! By the way, you can sign your name on Talk and vote pages using three tildes, like this: ~~~. Four tildes (~~~~) produces your name and the current date. If you have any questions, see the help pages, add a question to the village pump or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!
So which is it, StarFox or Tetris? How can they both be the best ever? ;-) --LV (Dark Mark) 22:00, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
- Well, I had seen you've been registered for quite some time, but were never officially welcomed. So I thought I'd be the first. Hope you liked the little orange message box. I know the first time I saw it, I was like, "What?!", but now I always appreciate it when I see it. See you around, my friend. --LV (Dark Mark) 22:11, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Images, et al.
To change the size of an image, you simply type how many pixels you want the image to be in width. So for instance, if you typed , it would appear in its normal size:
But if you typed , you would get:
You can move it left or right by typing that in there too: gives you:
If you want to give it a caption, you would type: to get:
I hope this helps. There are better image guides available, so you might want to check them out too. Wikipedia:Picture tutorial for a fuller explanation... or you can just play around in your very own Sandbox. See ya. --LV (Dark Mark) 22:32, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
Oh, about uploading your own images... you would need to find the right copyright information, which can be found off of the picture tutorial somewhere. And if you don't want all of this stuff cluttering up your talk page, Just shrink it down, or start a personal archive. Cheers. --LV (Dark Mark) 22:39, 25 January 2006 (UTC)
- Well, since you don't mind releasing it into the GDFL, feel free to upload it with the right copyright tag. See you around. --LV (Dark Mark) 22:47, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

- Well, since you don't care about others using it, you might think about releasing it into the Public Domain, and you can choose that tag on the upload page. I hope I am not confusing you too badly. You can always ask someone who knows a little bit more about coptrights than me at Wikipedia:Copyrights. --LV (Dark Mark) 22:52, 25 January 2006 (UTC)

BUSH
At least Saddam kept the various factions under control. America has effectively started a civil war between the Sunnis, the Shias and the Kurds. In doing this, Bush has spent two trillion dollars, decimating what clinton left as a very strong economy. Thousands of innocent iraqi citizens have died.
Bush is to thick to be running the country. He is destroying the environment. He recently wanted to begin drilling in an Alskan wildlife sanctuary. luckily, he was blocked. I could go on for ever. --Comrade Jesus (13) 21:15, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
- Call me a republican bastard, but I'd much rather have a picturesque sence interupted by an oil feild than have to be completely reliant on the most unstable and anti-american region in the world. Even the Chinese pretend to like us. Oil drilling is a relatively clean endeavour, it only gets messy when people do stupid things. I am fully confident that the US can extract oil from the ground in a much cleaner manner than can be done in the facist states of the middle east. Ironically, this is mostly thanks to people like you, who care about the enviroment enough to make sure others treat it right. I'm sure there are people like you in the middle east but they arn't exactly in the position to speak out against practices that could harm the envirment, especially when they are government backed. Perhaps one day they will have the same rights as we do and the issue of drilling in Alaska will become mute, but untill then, I will firmly support drilling in Alaska for the envirments sake (as well as numerous political and economical reasons that I'll not bore you with)--Lewk_of_Serthic 04:24, 15 February 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Hello Friend
Excellent to see that there are still good Bush supporters out there like yourself! I am from New Zealand and I estimnate that I must be the only person in this country, apart from ACT leader Rodney Hide (a great man, like Bush) who still agrees with George W. Bush on nearly everything, including his more controversial decisions like liberating Iraq, so it certainly is nice to see POV's from people who agree with me for a change. Keep spreading the good word about Bush! Also, what do you say to cooperating in trying to edit political articles subtly but effectively to help shift them closer to our views, without making the POV obvious?
Thanks
Joel Wilson.
Hi Fox.
In regards to our last exchange, I suggest we hit the pages of "socialism" and "criticisms of socialism" and their communism article counterparts. If you look under "criticisms of socialism" within the "socialism" article, you may see my edit there (it's all verified facts, even if it looks POV). I talk about the appalling human rights record (far worse than Nazism) of socialism, and the failure of their system.
Here it is:
The fact that historians estimate that Socialism has murdered 100,000,000 people worldwide in less than 90 years, which is more than any other political movement in history, including fascism and more than all the wars (including both world wars) in the 20th century combined, reminds people of the merciless brutality and contempt for individual rights and freedom which are characteristic of all Socialist regimes and makes people particularly fearful of what kinds of horror these types of movements may wreak in the 21st century if left unhindered. Combined with the economic, academic personal and cultural poverty created by Socialist regimes has left many in no doubt that it is an impossible system to work, due to the fact that there has never been an attempt at imposing Socialist rule that has not resulted in mass suffering and failure. This is characterised by the nickname for Socialism of a disasterous 'experiment' on the human population. The only possible exception to this may be China, which is developed in some aspects, such as it's military, (despite not having any major national security threats). Although very little can be said of improvements for the general population in China, with more than 500,000,000 never having brushed their teeth due to extreme poverty. However, this has been largely due to China's shift to a more market based economy, which has brought efficiency and an explosion of international trade and enterprise, characteristic of capitalism to this now very much impure Socialist state, rather than Socialist/Maoist policies which have caused famines in the country and obscurity from the world. There is still widespread repression, torture, sentencing to labour camps and murder of dissidents, democracy supporters, civil liberties groups and religious groups such as the Falun Gong, Tibetan Monks and Muslims in China.
I keep getting reverted, so I was wondering if we could cooperate together to 'darken the image' of the subject content in the articles mentioned. You can make your own ones or use mine, whatever you like.
Thanks
Any help is much appreciated.
Joel Wilson
[edit] Very good
But it does sound a little POV, though. The whole tone is "Socialism sux and it causes famines, and even China sucks they can't even brush their teeth, and the growth is only because of the limited capitalism." I think that is why it was reverted. If you can "lighten the tone" a little, I believe it can be acceptable.
I, by the way, have made some edits to New Iraqi Army. See them

[edit] License tagging for Image:Russia USA Locator.png
Thanks for uploading Image:Russia USA Locator.png. Wikipedia gets hundreds of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 02:06, 17 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Zlatiborian
A language-dialect spoken in South-Western Serbia; raughly spoken, it looks like a mixture of Serbian and Bosnian (and some words are similar to Montenegrin and Croatian). There was a question on Wikipedia does this language exist. It does, it is just not clear whether it is simply a dialect of Serbian, or it may be defined as a separate language. It is characterized by specific ijekavski rendering of Old Slavonic letter yat and neo-shtokavski accentuation. Unlike Serbian, there are no letters f and h in this language, but there is letter shy, like in Montenegrin. The vocabulary is partly specific. Some Zlatiborians often consider this language unlitteral and use it only with friends and relatives, while they use Serbian in formal occasions, which they consider more cultural. Although many Zlatiborians actually call this language-dialect 'Serbian' (some say 'ours', 'uzican', or 'zlatiborian'), they all are well aware of its differences and specialities. --Djordje D. Bozovic 17:25, 22 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Arab League
Responding on your comments on the 2050 Maps..
-Alaska- i personaly think that Alaska is more Isolated then any other State in the US, the Idea came to me after chatting over it with an alaskan guy telling me that there is a strong precentage of Alaskans see themselves as an Independant State, but the US governments tries to hide it and isolate Alaska more so that Americans not realize that... which is increasing the demands for Seperation by Alaskans..
-Caribbean Community- The Republics of Central Americas are a;ready members o the Caribbean Community, which makes them a strong candidates or Unity, and that they share the same culture, languge, ad history.
-Incan Union- are already independant, most ruling parties are of incan oigins,i think the movement in these countries, particularly in Peru, Bolivia, Ecuadore and Venezuela for a nativ country is gowing, with Peru and Bolivia and Ecuadore adopting there native language as the official language along with Spanish, can one ay change to delete Spanish from these countries.
-Arab League- Arabs are willing to Unite Today, but our only problem is our US suported Governments, starting with Egyptian Mubarak, all the way to the newest Puppet President of Iraq, calling for US troops to stay in Iraq or ever. once these dictators leave, and people get Power over their Governments, The Arabs will work for Unity that has been completely lost in WW1.
-Africans- Africa is an extreamly divided continent, that will suffer, unless Unity is formed, and Grand Unity of Africa will anger minorities of the minorities, so i divided them according to locations, except for East Arica, since they share a majority in Swahili, and Ethiopia that is alsmost enclaved in the Arab League.
-Persian United States- Irani influence over these countries is getting stronger then evern now, already economic links are being made. while Pakistan and Afghanistan are becoming so close with each othes, especially that they both share American Puppet Leaders, Musharaf and Qarazai. and the entire region shares strong "persian" culture, and history.
-Korea and Japan- i think that economically both nations will merge, and will not join each others politicaly, i think that both Koreas will unite one day, and probably after the Nuclear Crisis. then capitalism will strike North Korea, and merging with japan will occure one day..
Alaska - The South of the American Civil War had a much better chance of separation then Alaska does right now. If they started a civil war, they would be beaten badly
i dont think a war will spark between Alaska and the US, but rather a peacefull seperation will occure like the balic states. Caribean Community - No, many of the central American nations have a more Mayan culture and history. Many of them still speak Mayan. The Caribean islands don't have this.
Perhaps your right, but geographically, i think they will need to face its surrounding powers, such as Mexico, USA etc... Incan Union - That would be awesome: A rebirth of the Incan empire. :) I don't think Columbia or Venezuela would join, though they were never Incan, and have few Incans today. Paraquay would probably stay separate of Argentina, since they have a large native population.
i must agree with you, Venezuela and Colombia are as incan as they are chinese, but perhaps they would one day merge into the older Grand Colombia... Paraguay does have a bigger Native population then Argentina, but i dont think its a reason for stopping a merge.
Arab League - History lesson: The Arabs were not united even before WWI. They had already been divided by European empires. Before the Europeans, they were only "united" because they had been conquered by the Ottoman Empire. We are having a hard time keeping Iraq united, so are you sure unity is what the Arabs want? Also, I doubt Israel would be defeated by the Arabs. At least not as long as the US continues it's support of Israel, and is Somalia Arab? I thought their people were Somalis not Arabs?
no, its not conquest, the Arab world has been united under several dynasties, the Fatimids, Abbasids, Ummayids, and later on the Ottomans, perhaps not totaly united, putting the Mohavids Dynasty and other Moroccan Dynasties ruling north Africa. as for Israel, the Demographics of Israel will be flipped within 20-30 years, with palestinians as a majority, Israeli jews will eventually merge in a greater Arab State. and no, even tho somalia is a majorly Somali ethnics group, but Arabic is widely understood and is the second language their.
Africa - Africa is unlikely to unite any time soon. African nations have so many problems, uniting would be the last thing they worry about.
i believe that Africa is entering an age where civil wars are being treated peacefully, sevearl peace treaties have occured, such as Sudan, Rwanda, Uganda, DR.Congo, and others in the way, such as Ivory Coast, and others. perhaps within 20 to 40 years they will start to rely on regional blocks in africa, South Africa is already emerging as an economic block, that might eventually unite.
Persian United States - How much Iranian influence is there on nations like Kazakhstan? Will they be speaking Persian in another 50 years? Furthermore, how would being American "puppets" help Pakistan and Afghanistan's relationship with Iran? Also, what would happen in Iran? Would the Islamic theocracy eventually be overthrown in a revolution, and Iran would establish a more... modern state?
First of all, i refuse that you call Iran's Islamic Theocracy as an old State while a democratic as a modern state... this ideology is linked somehow to political reasons, like calling Communists as Evil and bad, while calling democracy as good, Communism is good but need to be applied correct, so is the Sharia, but unfortunatly they were both not applied correctly. regardless, i think Pakistan will have a new policy in the near future (5 years MAX.) with Musharaf either assasinated or a coup de etate. and will head for its islamic neihgbor of Iran, as for afghanistan, it will grow as a democracy eventually, and will have an elected president, liberated from American Control, Iranian Influence over central asia is not what will unite the region, the region is attached with each others economically, religiously, culturally & geographically the fact that Tajikstan, Iran and Afghanistan all have persian majorities WILL influence Central asian republics all the way to north Kazakhstan in Astana...
Korea and Japan - Theres no doubt that North Korea is doomed to failure one day. I don't think they will merge with Japan though. The closest they would get is some kind of Anti-China defense agreement.
perhaps your right... but Japan and Korea are getting closer to each others day by day, and its only a matter of time when Communist North falls, perhaps after a military defeat or political defeat... a close case to Pakistan.

Hello. What do you mean it's not "assert the importance"? It says:
"Blogs for Bush was one of the first blogs to receive media credentials to cover the Republican National Convention at Madison Square Garden in New York City, as well as media credentials for the 55th Presidential Inauguration on January 20, 2005."
Does that not assert any importance? Can you explain why not? Thank you.--Fox Mccloud 03:17, 1 March 2007 (UTC)
