Fox Theatre (Spokane)

The Fox Theater in Spokane, Washington is a 1930 Art Deco movie theater currently being restored. The theater opened on September 3, 1931. The Fox was closed, and bought by the Spokane Symphony. It is currently being remodled and is scheduled to open in 2007. It was designed by architect Robert C. Reamer, notable for his design of the Old Faithful Inn in Yellowstone Park.

Notable performances at the theatre include: Katharine Hepburn, in As You Like It, as well as Marian Anderson, Bing Crosby, and Frank Sinatra.[1]
