Fox Linux is a free Italian Linux distribution. It is based on Fedora and is optimized for the i686 architecture. It is designed for new users and those with simple requirements, such as writing and printing documents, browsing the Web, listening to music or watching movies, and burning optical discs. Fox Linux fits on a single CD. It defaults to a GUI somewhat similar to the Aqua theme. Additional software may be added later using extra discs known as packs or by downloading it from dedicated repositories.
The first stable version, 1.0, was released in December 2005. Currently there are two versions: PRO and Lite.
