Description:
The precesssion of the plane of swing of a Foucault pendulum located at 30 degrees latitude. The rings represent latitude lines. A full cycle of the animation is one sidereal day. In the course of a sidereal day, a Foucault pendulum located at 30 degrees latitude precesses 180 degrees with respect to the Earth.

To see the stereographic effect, the eyes must cross.
