Fountain Green is a city in Sanpete County, Utah, United States. The population was 945 at the 2000 census.

Fountain Green is located at 39°37′40″N, 111°38′22″W (39.627653, -111.639310)GR1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 3.7 km² (1.4 mi²), all land.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 945 people, 273 households, and 227 families residing in the city. The population density was 258.8/km² (672.2/mi²). There were 311 housing units at an average density of 85.2/km² (221.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the city was 95.03% White, 0.11% African American, 0.53% Native American, 3.17% from other races, and 1.16% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 5.19% of the population.

There were 273 households out of which 50.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 75.5% were married couples living together, 5.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 16.8% were non-families. 15.8% of all households were made up of individuals and 8.4% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 3.46 and the average family size was 3.90.

In the city the population was spread out with 39.4% under the age of 18, 9.3% from 18 to 24, 23.6% from 25 to 44, 16.8% from 45 to 64, and 10.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 26 years. For every 100 females there were 93.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 95.6 males.

The median income for a household in the city was $36,078, and the median income for a family was $38,864. Males had a median income of $32,135 versus $17,083 for females. The per capita income for the city was $12,283. About 7.2% of families and 9.9% of the population were below the poverty line, including 12.5% of those under age 18 and 7.4% of those age 65 or over.
