Foundation for Research & Technology - Hellas

The Foundation for Research & Technology - Hellas (Greek: Ίδρυμα Τεχνολογίας και Έρευνας) is a research centre in Greece, supervised by the Hellenic Ministry of Development. It consists of seven Research Institutes, which are located in various regions of Greece: Heraklion, Rethymno, Patras and Ioannina. The Foundation’s headquarters, as well as the Central Administration offices are located in Heraklion, Crete.
The research and technological focus of the foundation is centered around areas of great scientific, social, and economic interest, such as: Computer Science, Molecular Biology, Laser, Telecommunications, Microelectronics, Robotics, Biotechnology, Materials, Medical Engineering, Applied and Computational Mathematics, Biomedical Research, Biomedical Reaserch and Historical Studies.
