Foundation: The International Review of Science Fiction is a critical journal founded in 1972. Since then it has published over 9000 pages of articles and reviews about science fiction. Publishing the journal is just one of the activities of the Science Fiction Foundation; other activities include the promotion of the study of science fiction, organizing conferences, and maintaining the Science Fiction Foundation Collection (currently curated by the University of Liverpool), a large library and archive.
