Foster Island is an island in Seattle, Washington, USA's Union Bay. Bisected by Washington State Route 520, it is part of the Washington Park Arboretum.

It is a favorite pastime of Seattleites to go canoeing around the island and its wetlands.[1] Most rent their vessel from the University of Washington's Waterfront Activities Center north of the Montlake Cut.
