Foster is a village in Pierce County, Nebraska, United States. The population was 63 at the 2000 census.

As of the censusGR2 of 2000, there were 63 people, 32 households, and 16 families residing in the village. The population density was 110.6/km² (291.3/mi²). There were 34 housing units at an average density of 59.7/km² (157.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the village was 98.41% White and 1.59% Native American.
There were 32 households out of which 18.8% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 50.0% were married couples living together, 3.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 46.9% were non-families. 46.9% of all households were made up of individuals and 15.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.97 and the average family size was 2.82.
In the village the population was spread out with 20.6% under the age of 18, 3.2% from 18 to 24, 27.0% from 25 to 44, 22.2% from 45 to 64, and 27.0% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 44 years. For every 100 females there were 142.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 150.0 males.
The median income for a household in the village was $30,625, and the median income for a family was $41,250. Males had a median income of $26,250 versus $16,667 for females. The per capita income for the village was $17,127. There were no families and 5.4% of the population living below the poverty line, including no under eighteens and 25.0% of those over 64.
