[edit] Remark
There is a crucial difference between "foreign policy theories" and "IR theories". IR theories are applicable to the international relations, meaning that they make abstraction of many specific characteristics of a particular state, are about the relations (not about the policy of one particular state thus, but about the interaction between all states). Moreover IR theory can and does include non-state actors. I therefore think that a reference to IR theory is appropriate on this page, but no as widely as it is done now. Therefore I suggest to remove of at least significantly shorten the IR theory section. Sijo Ripa 13:57, 7 March 2006 (UTC)
- Perhaps the word "Theory" could be removed from the subtitle "International Relations Theory", and a general discription of the relationship of FP to IR could remain? Nicknz 00:32, 31 March 2006 (UTC)
