[edit] The Games
Forumplanet supports nearly 100 different games and game series. Each individual forum is usually named "Planet" followed by the game or series name. For example, the forum on Tony Hawk's Underground would fall under the "Planet Tony Hawk" board.
Some popular series with supported forums include:
- Planet Halo
- Planet Elder Scrolls
- Spawned an offshoot forum,[citation needed]. Oct 27, 2005
- Planet Grand Theft Auto
[edit] Administration
Each forum is a separate community, with an administrative staff (made up of administrators, moderators, and section moderators) that are comprised primarily of selected members of the forum's community, along with the actual board owner. The powers and capabilities of the various levels of authority vary from board to board. Generally, administrators can make changes to the actual boards themselves. Moderators can only lock and move topics, edit posts, and ban members. Section moderators have the capabilities of moderators, but only within certain sections of the board.
[edit] The Holy Trinity
Starting as early as 2002, three staff members have been revered with a cult status by certain users: Maddipper (Bill Rodenbaugh), Tetsuo (James Katic), and BenT (Ben Turner). Together they form the Holy Trinity.
Each staff member has been assigned by users a certain color: Maddipper is green, Tetsuo is purple, and BenT is red. All three are commonly spelled in bold and uppercase letters, BenT being an exception to the latter trait. Each staff member of the Trinity held their own forum section within ForumPlanet and each was heavily populated with devotees.
