Fort Walton Beach High School
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Fort Walton Beach High School is located in the center of Fort Walton Beach, Florida. It currently enrolls about 1935 students. Their former principal Dr. Alexis Tibbets left to take the place of superintendent Don Gaetz. Mrs. Charlene Couvillion then took her place. In her short time as principal she has instated a new tardy policy.
The tardy policy was added to make sure the teacher would not be grieved by students arriving to classes late and disrupting the classrooms status. The student must walk to the cafeteria to receive a tardy pass and then they will be invited into the classroom.
Fort Walton Beach High School does not only just allow residents of Fort Walton Beach to learn at their school, but also children who live in Destin are allowed the privilege to study and learn amongst others in Fort Walton. The school is very diverse and accepting of peoples cultures.
